  • Active in improvement process - Participated on the Guadalupe County Fire Protection Committee. This committee's focus was on bringing improved services to the communities within the county.

  • While on City Council, approved significant raises to Police and Fire Departments and pushed for new fire station to be built to keep up with population needs.

  • Working with the Union Pacific Railroad, TXDOT, County, and City leaders to improve safety at railroad crossings. Ongoing process – Union Pacific representative turnover has slowed the process; however, in the past month Union Pacific has come back to the table and we are making advance to move forward on the crossing safety.
